Japanese Tea Ceremony
About this collection
Japanese Tea Ceremony
The Japanese tea ceremony (茶道, chadō — 'the way of tea') centres on the preparation and sharing of matcha: a deliberate, unhurried ritual built from a small set of precise, beautiful objects. This collection brings together the tools that make the ceremony possible — wide-mouthed chawan bowls for whisking, handmade bamboo chasen from Takayama artisans, bamboo chashaku scoops and natsume lacquer caddies. Available individually or as a complete starter kit. Every piece is chosen for functional correctness as well as visual seriousness.
