How much caffeine is in different teas?

I've heard green tea has less caffeine than black, but matcha is high — what's the real ranking?

Per 240ml cup (rough): matcha ~70mg (you drink the whole leaf), black tea 40–70mg, oolong 30–50mg, green tea 25–40mg, white tea 15–30mg, decaf tea <5mg. For comparison, an espresso is 60–80mg. Caffeine depends on leaf grade (younger buds have more), brew temperature (hotter extracts more), and steep time. The 'tea coma' calming effect from oolong/green isn't low caffeine — it's the L-theanine balancing the caffeine, giving alert calm instead of jitters.
