What's the best way to store loose-leaf tea at home?

I've got a growing tea collection — how do I keep everything fresh?

Five enemies of tea: light, air, moisture, heat, and smells. Defense: opaque airtight tins (not glass jars on a sunny shelf), in a cupboard at stable cool room temperature (18–22°C), away from the kitchen (spices, garlic, cooking smells transfer). Separate pu-erh from everything else — its earthiness leaks. Keep greens and matcha in the fridge (well-sealed). Don't move teas between tins constantly — every transfer exposes them. Label your tins with type + harvest year — your future self will thank you.
